Yesterday I published information, how map composition are stored and described https://sdi4apps.eu/2016/08/inspire4youth-cooperate-with-us-some-information-for-technicians-i/ . Question is, how other platforms could profit from our map compositions.
There are two options:
- Go on GitHub https://github.com/hslayers/hslayers-ng , install our visualization client HSLayers-NG and use CSW service from our catalogue http://youth.sdi4apps.eu/php/metadata/csw/. Our client will support search for available compositions on our server and also parsering of JSON and visualization of available Map Compositions.
- Implement catalogue client and parsering mechanism on side of your client. We are interesting to tested possibilities to use concept of Map composition on other platforms like Leaflet or also on the side of desktops. We are looking for anybody, who will be able to cooperate with us on implementation of such solution for example into QGIS. We are ready to cooperate with you and help you with our code and advice. If you are interested to cooperate on this, please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are now working also on other possibilities, we are developing plugins for CKAN https://github.com/CCSS-CZ/ckan-ext-inspire , which will allows to harves our metadata into CKAN platform. You will be then able use CKAN as catalogue also.
