We started set of experimentation with metadata, making metadata better discoverable for “non GI” tools, like for example Google. We are at first experimenting with Metadata on Czech INSPIRE Geoportal https://geoportal.gov.cz/web/guest/prehled_metadat/
and on Whatstheplan portal https://geoportal.gov.cz/web/guest/prehled_metadat/ .
Both solutions are a little different, first give links to metadata, second on available map composition.
This is only first result. We will now work on improving solutions playing with semantic tagging and make information better accessible.
